This document explores the known Byzantine and Greek Orthodox churches in the town of Trabzon on the Black Sea coast in north east Türkiye. It relies heavily on the past research by Selina Ballance, Anthony Bryer, David Talbot Rice, David Winfield and the last Greek metropolitan of Trabzon, Chrysanthos (reign 1908–1922).
